Steve Brougham has signed Chris Elliott on his return
to the UK. 
Chris has been at College in Kentucky where he scored
8 goals this season for Union College Bulldogs, he has
also been playing for Cincinatti Kings in the summer .
A left sided midfielder Chris has played for the Port
previously as well as Cowes Sports and is available until
the end of the season.

Ross Gregory has given the Port lead from a penalty on 35 minutes.

Start of the second half linesman has got an injury and the match is held up. Game was delayed for about 7 or 8 minutes.
Still playing, the score remains 1-0 to Port with about 5 minutes left.
Port survive a late scare to hold on for the win. Thats 6 points on the road in 4 days.

Can you drive a minibus ?
The club now has exclusive use of a minibus for transporting our teams but we have a shortage of drivers.
If you have D1 category on your driving licence and have no more than 3 points could you help the club out ?
If you could drive the minibus to occasional away games you obviously travel free and enter the ground free.
We need somebody to drive the minibus to Hayling Island this Saturday as our usual drivers are unavailable.
If you could help out, please contact the club on 525027.

Kyle Levrier signs for the Port 
The Island Games striker Kyle Levrier has signed for Newport from Brading Town.
The 24 year old becomes Steve Brougham's first signing since returning to the Port last week.
An established striker at Wessex League level, Kyle has already scored 7 goals from 11 starts in the league this season. Plucked from Island League team Oakfield last year, he scored 18 Wessex Premier
League goals which helped Brading achieve 4th place in the league.

Steve Brougham's first game back in charge at the Port brought out the sunshine and the supporters.
With the two teams seperated by only one place and one point it was a real six pointer and sure to be a testing encounter. |
